Maysa Ridha, MD

Dr. Ridha is certified by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, in Ophthalmology since 1998. 

She subsequently moved to the USA where she completed a preliminary year in Internal Medicine at St Mary’s Health Center in St Louis, Missouri, followed by a Neurology residency (2008 – 2011), at Suny Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, where she also served as a chief resident during her last year of residency.
She also won the professional resident award for 2 years in a row and the resident scholar award. In addition she received the American Academy of Neurology resident scholarship Award in 2011.
She then successfully completed one year accredited Neuro-ophthalmology fellowship training at Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, GA. 

During her residency and fellowship, she was involved in research and poster presentations at national meetings. 

 Dr. Ridha is board certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ophthalmology in Ireland.
